Over the past several years I have created certain christmas traditions for myself. However, life circumstances led to me rethinking my plans. As a result I found myself in a place where continuing my christmas traditions was just not possible this year. Usually I head out for an interesting morning to afternoon hike up my mountain, exploring new areas and generally trying to find neat things. With no forest in my backyard, there was no exploring. As part of this hiking tradition I take many photos of the great natural outdoors. Instead I have photos from a recent plane ride.
Near the beginning of the flight there were patches of sky with no clouds, which was nice because the rest of the flight was cloudy.
From this point on it was all clouds, all the time.
Feeling a little homesick for the things that make home…home.
